Goshen man accused of stealing $1000 worth of flowers from Northampton florist

NORTHAMPTON - A Goshen man is accused of stealing a thousand dollars worth of flowers from a Florence florist shop over the course of several weeks late last year.

Richard Buono-Conrad, 47, of 52 Wildwood Lane was arraigned Wednesday in Northampton District Court on a single charge of larceny over $ 250 by false pretense.

The owner of Florence Village Flower Shop called police a week before Christmas to say a customer who had been coming into the store regularly since around Thanksgiving had racked up charges for floral arrangements totaling $ 1000.75, according to a police report filed with court documents.
