Art Alive florist teaches Masterclass

News from U-T San Diego:

For the last 15 years, floral designer Sharon Mintz has participated in Art Alive, the San Diego Museum of Art’s annual fundraiser happening this weekend.

Mintz returns once again with another floral interpretation and also as the teacher of Sunday morning’s Floral Masterclass.

When she’s not creating arrangements inspired by artistic masterpieces, Mintz runs Organic Elements, a shop that creates custom floral designs for weddings and events.

The Clairemont resident grew up in Los Angeles, attended UC San Diego to study psychology, and permanently moved to San Diego in 2005 to open her shop.
